Background
Dries Joseph is founder and managing partner of the firm and has been an attorney since 2010.
During his career, he has built up extensive expertise in corporate and commercial law in the broad sense. In this context, he assists shareholders, directors and company managers at crucial strategic moments, including in negotiations, restructurings, disputes and other important decision-making processes. His role here often goes beyond mere legal advice: he acts as a strategic sounding board with an eye for business reality and the long term.
Dries graduated with honors from K.U. Leuven with a degree in Law, combined with studies in Economics and Business Administration, and additionally took a partial MBA course at the University of Bern (UniBe).
He took several international courses in successful negotiation and in 2018 completed the postgraduate course in bankruptcy trustee – liquidator at K.U. Leuven. He also remains closely involved in academia as a guest lecturer.
His clientele consists mainly of corporate executives and SME owners. They appreciate him for his proactive, strategic and solution-oriented approach, both in mergers and acquisitions, complex negotiations and the drafting of commercial contracts, and in their enforcement in court.
In addition, Dries is chairman of the board of directors of Baker Tilly Belgium.
