Background

Martijn Baert is a partner at Baker Tilly Law Belgium since 2025 and has been an attorney since 2010. He focuses on employment law, social security and economic migration.

Martijn began his career at a reputable law firm where he immersed himself in all aspects of employment law. In 2019, he started the boutique law firm Arcade Law with Dries Faingnaert, with a strong focus on international employment.

Martijn often speaks at seminars and trainings on employment law and economic migration. He gives a guest lecture on economic migration in the advanced master program in social law at VUB. Since 2019, he has been a contributing editor at the law review RABG.
