Background
Stéphanie Ngay-Katalay (born 18 September 1987) is a member of the Brussels Bar since October 2011. She obtained her master’s degree in Law UCL in 2010. She then attended the postgraduate master’s program in information technology law at FNDPand graduated in 2011.
Stéphanie specializes in ICT law, personal data protection, intellectual property, as well as e-commerce, market practices and consumer protection.
She also practices general commercial law, including dispute resolution and litigation.
In addition, Stéphanie has experience in negotiating and drafting franchise and distribution agreements.
Prior to joining Baker Tilly Law, Stéphanie worked as a senior associate in the Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) department of a leading Belgian law firm.
Stephanie has developed and acquired a thorough knowledge of the legal framework on personal data processing and protection. In this respect, Stéphanie is a guest speaker at seminars on the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR). Stéphanie already assisted several SMEs and multinational companies in the GDPR compliance and implementation work.
